We Three Kings

When Robert Owen (the father of British socialism) meets Isambard Kingdom Brunel (legendary Victorian engineer) and Joseph Bazelgette (a talented young drainage engineer) in a stable before the coronation of Queen Victoria an unlikely partnership is born. Despite their different philosophies the two older men become mentors to young Bazelgette and when they both die it is left to the young man to put all he has learned into his defining project and overcoming resistance from a reactionary and stubborn political establishment in order to build the London sewer system and so save the nation's capital from cholera.
